Mike the Tiger has begun to undergo treatment for cancer and the results don’t look good.
Photos taken by The Advocate show that the live LSU mascot has nasty radiation scar around his right eye. Per the report, an LSU spokesperson, a lump had formed around the Tiger’s eye to protect the area from sunlight.

Mike the Tiger was diagnosed with cell sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, two months ago, and began cancer treatment as a way to extend his life expectancy. The mascot is expected to live another 1-2 years with the cancer treatment he is receiving. He had not gotten treatment, his life expectancy would’ve been much shorter.
