Police intervene to stop Arkansas OL from dancing at midfield on LSU’s “Tiger eye”
Arkansas offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola ruffled some feathers during pregame warmups and a police officer was forced to intervene.
Tretola danced on LSU’s midfield logo during warmups, according to The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger. Tretola continued to frolic on the Tiger eye despite the displeasure of some LSU players. Eventually, a police sergeant forced Tretola’s celebration to cease.
This pregame routine has not been limited to just LSU’s midfield logo, however. Tretola’s dance is a weekly tradition before every game, according to Whole Hogs Sports’ Andrew Hutchinson.
Tretola takes his role as a motivator quite seriously. He got the Razorbacks pumped up earlier on Saturday afternoon. Clearly, Tretola and the Razorbacks fully intend on bringing The Golden Boot back home. The Tigers may not take the gesture too kindly. Emotions will be high when LSU and Arkansas square off Saturday night.
