Ed Orgeron has generated a lot of support for himself among the LSU fan base.
The interim head coach is reportedly the favorite to stay on full-time with the Tigers. He has also “really impressed” the power brokers in Baton Rouge. Now, an LSU graduate’s poll says a strong majority of Tiger fans want to keep him.
Tiger Rag’s Cody Worsham received the results of a poll commissioned by LSU graduate Parker Laryisson. The results showed that 72 percent of LSU fans polled were in favor of hiring Orgeron as LSU’s head coach.

A Louisiana-based polling company conducted the survey. The poll apparently surveyed 350 LSU fans across the state. However, LSU has over 31,000 students and over 225,000 living alumni.
The Tigers are 3-1 since Orgeron took over as head coach. LSU plays at Arkansas on Saturday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
