Les Miles was fired by LSU Sunday afternoon, leaving the former national championship winning coach without a job.
However, there’s a fan base deep in West Lafayette, Ind., which would love to see Miles on their sidelines.
IDEA: Purdue head coach Les Miles

Of course, at this point its merely just wishful thinking that Miles would consider taking the Boilermakers job, as Purdue currently has a head coach in Darren Hazell. While Boilermaker fans may be unhappy with Hazell’s 8-31 record as head coach, he’s still employed by Purdue as its head football coach until further notice.
But, that’s not stopping some from wishing.
While I'm at it…
Dear Les Miles,
Purdue would love to have you. We have delicious grass & you could stay forever.

As humorous as some Purdue fans may seem in wanting someone such as Miles coaching their football team, it still may be a long shot to find him eating Ross-Ade Stadium grass next season.
To all the Purdue fans saying Miles will go there, I’m sorry, I think he’d choose TV over Purdue, but that’s just my opinion.

Here’s to hoping, Purdue.
