Former LSU quarterback Anthony Jennings is seeking a transfer to Louisiana-Lafayette, though the deal is not done yet, The Advocate of Baton Rouge’s Luke Johnson reported.
The 6-foot-2, 216-pound Jennings started 12 games in 2014 but lost the starting job last season to Brandon Harris. Jennings announced plans to transfer in March.
Should Jennings complete his degree from LSU as expected this summer, he would be eligible to join the Ragin’ Cajuns for 2016.
In a three-year career with the Tigers, Jennings appeared in 24 games and started 13. He passed for 1,792 yards go to along with 12 touchdowns.
