It didn’t take long for former LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger to find a new NFL home.
Mettenberger will reunite with former Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt in San Diego. Whisenhunt coached Mettenberger during his first two seasons before being fired midway through the 2015 season. He was hired by the Chargers in January.
The third-year pro is 0-10 as a professional starter with 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He likely will serve as a backup behind Philip Rivers.
