Just a few weeks ago, former LSU basketball star Tim Quarterman signed to play with Jiangsu Dragons in China, only for the deal to fall through at the last minute. And after what happened on Monday night, Quarterman is surely wishing he was halfway across the globe like he thought he would be.
According to a report by WTVA in Mississippi, Quarterman was arrested late Monday night on aggravated assault and felony fleeing charges. The report states that Quarterman initiated a high-speed chase in north Mississippi with officers who attempted to stop his vehicle, with the chase ultimately ending after Quarterman rammed his truck into one of the police cars, causing both vehicles to crash.
Needless to say, that’s not a good look for the former Tigers player. Quarterman’s bond for the arrest was set at $25,000.
