For those LSU fans who also like the New Orleans Saints, this could be good news. According to ESPN’s Adam Caplan, former LSU running back Leonard Fournette visited with the Saints on Friday ahead of this month’s NFL draft.
The Saints own the No. 11 and No. 32 picks in the first round of the draft, which takes place in Philadelphia on April 27.

Fournette rushed for 3,830 yards and 40 touchdowns over his 3 seasons with the Tigers. As a junior last season, he rushed for 843 yards and 8 touchdowns but was limited to 7 games because of injury.
According to several mock drafts, Fournette might not be on the board by the time the No. 11 pick comes up. If that’s the case, and if the Saints are truly interested in keeping the running back in Louisiana, they might have to trade up to select Fournette.
