It was supposed to be Florida’s big recruiting weekend in arguably its best home game of the season.
Instead, LSU will reap the benefits.
The Nov. 19 rescheduled game between Florida and LSU will be treated as a home game for the Tigers, and they will be able to host recruits that weekend, according to 247Sports’ Shea Dixon.

Florida coach Jim McElwain was asked about the recruiting situation earlier in the week, but at the time, was not concerned with losing official visits.
“The picture of life, you know,” McElwain said earlier in the week. “Yeah, we missed a lot (by not hosting recruits). And yet, why don’t we go walk through the aftermath of some of this and ask, ‘How important was that?’ We can make up an official visit.”
