LSU may be losing some members of its offensive line, but the center is back.
Ethan Pocic announced he will return for his senior season in Baton Rouge, La. The school later confirmed, via Twitter.
The 6-foot-7, 310-pound lineman will resist the chance to enter the 2016 NFL Draft despite receiving a second-round draft grade from the NFL College Advisory Committee, sources told Dellenger.
Pocic will return to an LSU offensive line that will lose tackle Jerald Hawkins to the NFL and Vadal Alexander to graduation, but returns freshman guards William Clapp and Maea Teuhema.
That leaves Pocic as the lone senior on the Tigers’ offensive line in 2016.
Pocic’s teammates linebacker Kendell Beckwith, defensive end Lewis Neal, cornerback Tre’Davious White and defensive tackle Christian LaCouture also requested draft grades from the advisory committee, per Dellinger.
Beckwith is believed to be leaning toward returning next season as well.
