LSU may be without Isaiah Washington for some time.
The Tigers defensive end missed practice on Monday and suffered a knee injury that will sideline him for a “prolonged period of time”, according to The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger, who cited sources.
Washington played in six games last season, making no starts and collected three tackles. He was set to backup Adren Key at the BUCK position, a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker spot.
The New Orleans native came to Baton Rouge as the nation’s No. 22 weak-side defensive end, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
