An LSU defensive lineman reportedly has been ruled ineligible for the spring.
As reported by The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger on Thursday, Tigers defensive lineman Isaiah Washington has been ruled ineligible for spring practices. Dellenger reports that Washington fell below the minimum course number requirement to participate.

Washington missed the entire 2016 season after dealing with knee problems. He had three tackles and a forced fumble in six games during the 2015 season.
Washington’s situation is a hit to LSU’s depth on the defensive line this spring. It will be interesting to watch his trajectory after this development. As said on his LSU bio, Washington “possesses the size and quickness to line up along the defensive line or at linebacker.”
The Tigers closed 8-4 last season with a victory over Louisville in the Citrus Bowl.
