Things just keep getting worse for LSU.
LSU coach Johnny Jones said on Monday that senior guard Keith Hornsby will likely miss Tuesday’s game against Arkansas with an injury suffered during Saturday’s 81-65 loss to Tennessee. Jones said the doctors were still evaluating Hornsby’s X-rays.
Jones says Hornsby's out for tomorrow. No ruling, no timetable set for his return.

A report from ESPN’s Jeff Goodman suggested that Hornsby could miss the rest of the year after sustaining a hernia injury during Saturday’s loss to the Vols. Jones described that report as erroneous Monday afternoon, according to Worsham. But that quote contradicted a statement he made earlier Monday morning during the SEC teleconference.
“ESPN could be right,” Jones said during the teleconference. “There’s a chance that he could be out for the rest of the season, but I don’t know that as of yet.”
Hornsby missed the first seven games of the season after undergoing surgery for what was deemed a minor injury. He’s averaging 13.1 points and shooting 41.5 percent from 3-point range this season.
This is a major loss for an LSU team that is already fighting for its NCAA tournament lives. The Tigers were listed as one of the next four teams out in Joe Lunardi’s latest version of bracketology.
