One of LSU’s most important pieces could be back in 2016.
Linebacker Kendell Beckwith has given “indications” that he will be back for his senior season, according to TFY Draft Insider’s Tony Pauline. No final decision has been made, though.
The 6-foot-2, 252-pound Clinton, La. native was thought to be leaning toward entering the 2016 NFL Draft after a breakout 2015 campaign.
In 12 starts this past season, Beckwith finished second on the team in tackles (84), including 10 for loss, 3.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.
Beckwith could potentially benefit from the addition of Dave Aranda as LSU’s new defensive coordinator.
