Matt Canada will be making big money.
As reported by The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger on Wednesday, the new LSU offensive coordinator is set to make $1.5 million per year as part of a three-year deal with the school.
Canada’s contract ends in March 2020, per Dellenger. Dellenger reports that Canada will earn a base salary of $500,000, with $1 million more coming from “media rights compensation and other sources.”
LSU signed defensive coordinator Dave Aranda to a large contract in December. Canada and Aranda will make a combined $3.3 million this year as they enter the Tigers’ first full season under coach Ed Orgeron.
