LSU reportedly will be down an offensive lineman going into next season.
According to a report from 247Sports’ Shea Dixon, Tigers offensive tackle Chidi Okeke will transfer out of the program. Dixon reports that Okeke says he has been given his release from the LSU program, but does not yet have a new destination lined up.

Okeke is a former four-star prospect, according to the 247Sports composite rankings for the 2015 recruiting class. He is a Nigerian native who played his high school ball at Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Ludowici, Ga.
He ranked as high as the No. 2 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 22 overall prospect in his signing class, earning him a five-star rating from 247Sports. Okeke redshirted as a freshman in 2015 and did not play organized football until 2013, according to his official LSU bio.
