Sophomore wide receiver John Diarse will transfer to TCU, according to a report from 247Sports.com’s Jeremy Clark.
Diarse did not see much playing time with LSU and caught 13 passes for 137 yards as a redshirt sophomore. He caught four passes for 45 yards in LSU’s 56-27 victory over Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl.
The former four-star recruit will have two years of eligibility after earning his undergraduate degree last month, according to NOLA.com’s Jim Kleinpeter.
Diarse’s departure shouldn’t leave much of an impact on LSU’s receiving corps heading into 2016. The Tigers should have each of their top three receivers back and will add depth with three receivers ranked in the top 25 at their position in the class of 2016.
