Odell Beckham Jr. should be a happy man Tuesday.
The former LSU wide receiver signed the most lucrative shoe deal ever for an NFL player, as reported by NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. Giants Daily reported the terms of Beckham’s deal with Nike to be a five-year agreement worth $25 million.

Clearly, Beckham’s bank account will be in great shape with this development. And it’s money well-earned.
After all, Beckham’s star has risen quite a bit since the New York Giants selected him as the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. He has 4,122 yards receiving and 35 touchdowns throughout his career. He also has been named a three-time Pro Bowl player.
Beckham still has room to grow as a professional. On Monday, it was reported that he skipped an OTA session. But in a league where players should try to earn as much money as they can, Beckham definitely won on this day.
