So LSU lost a heartbreaker at Auburn it thought it had won Saturday night.
That was tough.
And because of that, LSU dropped a spot in this week’s SEC Country Power Poll from eighth to ninth.
But that’s the least of LSU’s concerns Sunday.
Despite winning at least eight games every season since he took over in Baton Rouge in 2005, Miles almost lost his job last year. But a bowl victory got LSU to 9-3 and an outpouring of support from fans played a large part in securing his job for 2016.
But that ended Sunday after the Tigers lost to Auburn 18-13.
The poll consists of 22 voters this week, including ones from SEC Country and around the nation.
Check back next week to see the Week 5 installment of the SEC Country Power Poll.
