The addition of Giles could be a big boost to LSU’s offense.
Giles led Texas Tech in receiving yards (1,158), touchdowns (13) and receptions (69) in 2016 as a sophomore and has two remaining years of eligibility.
As a freshman, Giles had 15 receptions and three touchdowns.
Coming out of high school, Giles was rated as a 3-star prospect and the No. 66 wide receiver in the nation according to Scout.com.
Giles’ original top 10 list included LSU, Ohio State, Florida State, Louisville, Georgia, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Purdue, SMU and Oregon.
