Alexander is the top prospect in Louisiana according to 247Sports Composite rankings. The 6-foot-6, 215-pound four-star prospect from Breaux Bridge, La., is the No. 15 small forward in the country according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
In addition to LSU, Alexander was also gaining interest from Alabama. But the Crimson Tide did not make the final cut.
The Tigers will be battling for this in-state recruit with a familiar foe though. 247Sports Crystal Ball Prediction projects Alexander to choose Western Kentucky over LSU.
The Hilltoppers made some recruiting noise Wednesday when they gained a commitment from the top prospect in Louisiana, Mitchell Robinson. New Western Kentucky coach Todd Stansbury has already begun putting together an impressive recruiting class and poaching potential SEC prospects.
Alexander may very well be the next one.
He has a lot of interest from some other power schools too. So LSU has its work cut out to keep this top prospect home.
