Life is good for Tre’Davious White right about now.
The former LSU defensive back was a first-round selection of the Buffalo Bills in last month’s NFL Draft, and he’s ready to reap the rewards of the hard work he put in over the years.
On Thursday, White officially put pen to paper on his rookie contract with the AFC North franchise.

According to sports salary website Spotrac, it is a four-deal worth $10,091,110. As a result of being the first-round choice of the Bills, White also will receive a hefty signing bonus of $5,478,989.
What does he plan to do with his newfound riches?
According to Bills beat reporter Joe Buscaglia, White’s first purchase will be a new home for his mother because he feels he owes her for all the sacrifices she made to help get him to this point.

Wise investment, Tre’Davious. Take care of the one who took care of you.
No word yet on what the new home may look like, but with more than $5 million to play with, we’re guessing it’ll probably be a pretty comfortable one.
