Many of LSU’s targets spent last week in Orlando, Fla., for the Under Armour All-America Game, which features many of the nation’s top senior prospects. Well, another pair of LSU commits are in Carson, Calif., preparing for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl Sunday night.
Both 4-star St. Augustine High School (New Orleans) tight end Jamal Pettigrew and 3-star Denham Springs High School (La.) defensive end Caleb Roddy are on the East roster.
The 6-foot-6, 229-pound Pettigrew has been committed to LSU for almost a calendar year. He’s the nation’s No. 7 tight end and the state of Louisiana’s fifteenth-best prospect.
The 6-foot-4, 255-pound Roddy pledged to the Tigers in June, upon an offer from his hometown university. Roddy is the No. 21 strong-side defensive end in the nation.
Sunday’s kickoff will be at 9 p.m. ET. It will be broadcasted on Fox Sports 1.
