Derrius Guice made his second place in start of the injured Leonard Fournette, and yet again impressed in the early going.
Guice, an LSU sophomore running back, capped off a clock-killing first-quarter drive with a 42-yard touchdown run in which he made three different Missouri defenders miss.
This marked the first touchdown of the Ed Orgeron era at LSU and the first with interim offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger calling the plays. For Guice, it was his second rushing touchdown of the season.
