Kelvin Joseph heard ‘Neck’ on National Signing Day, and it may be the last time he hears it during his LSU career.
The top-rated defensive back in Louisiana in the Class of 2018 has probably heard the contreversial song before Wednesday, but this may be the first time it has been played at a National Signing Day event.
It’s a song by Cameo and Dem Franchize Boyz officially called “Talkin’ Out Da Side of Ya Neck” and it has caused some contreversey at LSU over the years.
The primary reason for the contreversey was the LSU student section, who decided to replace some of the lyrics with a 5-word phrase not worth repeating. While it’s not heard in the video, it’s still somewhat notable that a high school band played the song.

The last time LSU fans got a taste of the song was last season.
Odell Beckham Jr. was in the crowd and reportedly said he would pay any fine associated with playing the song.
Joseph, meanwhile, was one of the Tigers most highly-touted recruits in this cycle. He was ranked No. 42 in the country according to 247Sports.
