Saahdiq Charles flew under the radar for part of his recruitment, but with National Signing Day just a few weeks away, he has proven to be one of the best at his craft.
Charles, a 4-star offensive lineman and solid LSU commit, was a finalist at Nike’s “The Opening” in Beaverton, Ore., this summer. If you wanted to know why, he released his senior highlight tape today.
The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder played left tackle for Madison-Ridgeland (Miss.) Academy, but will be a stud interior lineman when he arrives at LSU.
A quick look at the tape shows Charles dominating the competition. LSU’s running game looks as if it will remain in tip-top shape thanks to the haul of offensive linemen on their way to Baton Rouge.
For what it’s worth, Charles ended his recruitment earlier in December after Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Florida and Tennessee attempted to make a late push for the 4-star lineman. Charles will officially visit LSU — and only LSU — in January.
