LSU pitcher Todd Peterson isn’t used to stepping up to the plate and taking swings for the Tigers, but on Thursday night, he received a chance to prove that he can hit with the best of them.
With the Tigers tied against South Carolina in the SEC Tournament in the bottom of the 12th inning, Peterson delivered in a big way, doubling in a run. Afterward, he gave an excellent answer to what he was thinking during his at-bat.
OH BABY! @Todd_Peterson3 stepped up big time for the Tigers tonight in extras!
