No Leonard Fournette, no problem.
Without LSU’s All-World running back, the Tigers turned to their other All-World back, Derrius Guice.
The sophomore broke loose for his third touchdown of the evening, this one from 37 yards.
Guice is enjoying a career-best day with three touchdowns — all in the first half. He entered the contest with one rushing touchdown on the season, which he earned when he started in place of an injured Fournette against Jacksonville State.
No. 5 has more than 130 yards on the ground and is averaging better than 11 yards per carry so far in the game.
