If LSU can find a way to bounce back from its thrashing in Starkville like Shane the Cameraman did, there’s still plenty of hope for Tigers fans this season.
The rout was on and the final score had already been decided early in the fourth quarter of LSU’s 37-7 loss to Mississippi State on Saturday night. The Tigers faced 1st-and-10 at the MSU 27-yard line, and Danny Etling fired one into the end zone looking for sophomore receiver Derrick Dillon.
Dillon couldn’t track down the ball, but he most certainly found an ESPN cameraman — revealed as “Shane” during the broadcast — who hung tough in the pocket as he got ran over by Dillon.
