JaCoby Stevens, the nation’s No. 2 safety and one of the top 30 players in the Class of 2017, committed to LSU for the second time Monday.
Stevens, a 5-star prospect, had de-committed from LSU last November and had since spent time looking at several other schools including SEC rivals Alabama, Auburn and Georgia, before deciding his first instinct was in fact the right one. He is back among a strong group of LSU commits, which also includes 4-star safety Grant Delpit.
Jeff Sentell was in Murfreesboro, Tenn., to chronicle Stevens’ commitment at his high school Monday. Sentell caught up with Stevens after the announcement for a question-and-answer session on Facebook Live.
