LSU’s game preparation for next week’s meeting with Wisconsin at Lambeau Field can be moved into the next gear.
The Tigers received official work on Thursday evening that the Badgers have picked a starting quarterback following a preseason camp battle.
Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst will start Bart Houston at quarterback on Sept. 3, according to the team’s official Twitter account.

Houston, now a senior, completed 27-of-47 passes for 281 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in 2015 as Joel Stave’s backup. He beat out redshirt freshman QB Alex Hornibrook to replace the long-time Badgers starter.
