Some have been quick to anoint former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott after his stellar preseason. Colin Cowherd was not one of those people.
Cowherd brought up Prescott’s DUI and him going in the fourth round as reason to be skeptical of Prescott.

But Prescott has begun to back up some of his hype. Prescott scored his first career touchdown on Saturday and led the Cowboys to a road win over the Washington Redskins. And he got Cowherd to change his tune.
If I told you once I told you a million times. Dak is a superstar in the making. ?

Cowherd may have been implying sarcasm with his emoji, but Prescott has shown that he is at least a capable NFL quarterback. Prescott completed 22 of his 30 passes for 292 yards in the Cowboys 27-23 win over Washington.
