Former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott among NFL Pro Bowl voting leaders
The world belongs to Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott, we’re just living in it.
The Dallas Cowboys rookies lead the way in Pro Bowl fan voting, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The accolades are well deserved, as the rookie duo has catalyzed Dallas to an 11-game winning streak. The Cowboys sit atop the NFC and have already clinched a playoff berth. Both have garnered league MVP consideration, and rightfully so.
Elliott leads the league in rushing with 1,285 yards and is second with 12 rushing touchdowns. Prescott, a former Mississippi State standout, has shown incredible poise and maturity after being thrown into the fire as the team’s starter. He’s thrown for 2,974 yards and 18 touchdowns and has thrown only 2 interceptions, the fewest total among quarterbacks who have played in every game this season.
The question will be how far can these emerging stars carry the Cowboys. No matter what happens this season, it’s safe to say the Cowboys have a tremendous nucleus for the future.
