Dak-mania might be upon us sooner than expected.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo went out of a preseason game against the Seahawks after being sacked on the third play of the game. He walked off the field under his own power, but Prescott took over the offense.
Prescott continued the Cowboys’ opening drive. He completed three of his four passes for 29 yards and the first touchdown of the game.
Jason Witten had no business catching this ball.

Romo missed 12 games last year with a shoulder injury. Prescott is the primary backup with Kellen Moore out. Former Texas A&M quarterback Jameill Showers has moved up to third string.
ESPN reported that Romo told coaches he was healthy enough to return to the game, but head coach Jason Garrett held him out.
