Dan Mullen’s Mississippi State Bulldogs walked into a shootout in Arkansas Saturday night, and only left town alive because of the deadly cannon quarterback Dak Prescott was packing.
Prescott accounted for seven touchdowns on the night — five passing and two rushing — and the Bulldogs escaped Fayetteville, Ark. with a 51-50 win.
Prescott is now up to 32 touchdowns on the season and 107 on his career. His 104th — a four-yard rush in the first quarter of Saturday’s game — put him in fourth place in the SEC career touchdown list. His performance on the night first place in his coach’s book.

Very high praise considering Mullen was the quarterbacks coach at Florida while Tim Tebow was a Gator. Tebow’s 145 career touchdowns are good for first all-time in the SEC. Prescott may trail him by 38 scores, but apparently he has Tebow beat as far as their coach’s commendation is concerned.
