Dan Mullen had a busy day on Sunday. But that didn’t stop the Mississippi State head coach from traveling to Dallas to watch a former player.
After watching film with his staff during the day, Mullen was at AT&T Stadium for the Bears-Cowboys game to watch Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott, who played for Mullen’s Bulldogs just last season.

Prescott has yet to throw a touchdown or interception just more than two games into his NFL career. However, he did quickly give his old coach something to cheer about on Sunday night, running in the first score of the game. It was Prescott’s second rushing touchdown of the season.
