Fan Sound Off: Mississippi State upends No. 12 LSU; fans want Tide next

Nick Fitzgerald might have played himself into Heisman Trophy award consideration Saturday as Mississippi State thumped No. 12 LSU 37-7 during Week 3 action in Starkville, Miss.

Fitzgerald threw for 180 yards and added 88 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground as the Bulldogs moved to 3-0.

Aeris Williams rushed for 146 yards. Keith Mixon and Deddrick Thomas each made touchdown catches.

The Bulldogs defense held the potent LSU run game to 133 yards and stopped the Tigers on 10 of 13 third-down attempts.

The cowbells are ringing in Starkville as Bulldogs fans rejoice the big win.
