Wide receiver Dominique Booth intends to transfer from Indiana and will spend the weekend visiting Mississippi State, according to Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports.
Booth caught eight passes for 70 yards in his true freshman season with the Hoosiers, but missed the entire 2015 season due to injury and was granted a medical redshirt. He will miss 2016 as well, as Booth intends to stay at Indiana and graduate in December or April before leaving to join another program with two or three years of eligibility remaining, depending if he is granted a sixth-year due to injury.
The receiver has been granted a free release by Indiana and said Missouri, Kansas, Oregon, Oklahoma State and Ball State are other potential landing spots.
A four-star recruit in 2014, Booth was the No. 35 receiver in the nation, according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings, and reportedly had offers from Alabama, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt, in addition to Mississippi State, Missouri and several other schools. He committed to Tennessee in July 2013, but de-committed from the school in December 2013.
