After the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Washington Redskins 27-23 on Sunday afternoon, the intense NFC East rivalry was put aside by two former Mississippi State Bulldogs.
According to Dallas Cowboys sideline reporter Kristi Scales, Dallas rookie quarterback Dak Prescott and second-year Washington outside linebacker Preston Smith, who were teammates in Starkville, exchanged jerseys and autographs after the game.

In the game, Prescott threw his first career touchdown pass to put the Cowboys up 20-17 at the time. He completed 22 of his 30 passes for 292 yards, while Smith had two tackles.
