The world has been changing a lot for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott the last few years. He went from a relative unknown player to, at one point, a Heisman Trophy favorite at Mississippi State.
This season he has gone on to lead the Cowboys to the best record in the NFC. He was asked about what has changed in the last few months.
“You guys want to talk to me more,” Prescott said, via the Dallas Morning News’ Jon Machota. “Maybe more followers on Instagram and Twitter.”
He hit the nail on the head there. Becoming the Cowboys’ starting quarterback, replacing one of the better players in the NFL and, most importantly, winning, brings a great deal of attention.
Prescott has handled it pretty well for the most part. He moved past the stupid club photo controversy and kept playing great football.
Now he has a chance to win a Super Bowl with the Cowboys as a rookie. No matter how you feel about the team, that is quite an accomplishment.
