This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has kept a close eye on Mississippi State over the past few seasons. Former Bulldogs QB Dak Prescott scored his first NFL touchdown Sunday against the Redskins in the third quarter.
Prescott dropped back to pass and with the pocket collapsing and none of his wide receivers open, tucked the ball and made one defender miss to put the Cowboys up 20-17. It’s the first of likely many for Prescott, who took over the Cowboys starting QB job with Tony Romo out.
