Prescott was taken in the fourth round by the Cowboys and will most likely spend his first season on the bench as Tony Romo’s backup. The hope is that Prescott develops into the team’s future starter to replace the 36-year-old Romo when the time comes.
Prescott threw for 3,793 yards and 29 touchdowns while rushing for 588 yards and 10 touchdowns during his final season with the Bulldogs.
