It was one of the greatest games in college basketball history. And Mississippi State stunned the unbeaten Connecticut Huskies.
Morgan William hit a pull-up jumper as time expired to send the Bulldogs to a 66-64 win in overtime. The Huskies came in on a 111-game winning streak, the largest in the history of men’s or women’s Division I basketball history.
It’s worth nothing this UConn team had won the last four national championships. This was Mississippi State’s first Final Four.
Right after the shot went down, Twitter went nuts.
Mississippi State shocks UConn, the world.

The win also sets up an all-SEC final as Mississippi State will take on South Carolina. The Gamecocks beat the Bulldogs in the SEC Tournament final back in March.
Wow! Remember the good old days when the SEC was a football conference?
