Manning is one of the best quarterbacks in Ole Miss history. He finished his college career with 5,576 yards of total offense, and his 56 total touchdowns set a program record which stood until 2003, when Manning’s son, Eli, surpassed that mark with a total of 86 touchdowns. Manning’s No. 18 jersey was the first number to be retired by the Rebels.
As Harbaugh travels around the Southeast attending satellite camps, he’s made a habit of honoring local legends with his jersey choices. In Georgia, Harbaugh wore a Hank Aaron Braves jersey. In Alabama, Harbaugh’s jersey of choice, tucked into his trademark khakis, paid tribute to former Alabama standout Julio Jones.
Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen is also on hand for the camp, as are members of the Ole Miss coaching staff.
