Mississippi State’s jerseys are ready for the TaxSlayer Bowl.
On Tuesday, the Bulldogs’ Twitter account released a photo of the bowl patch that will appear on Mississippi State’s jerseys later this month. The Bulldogs will face ACC foe Louisville on Dec. 30 at EverBank Field in Jacksonville.
The sight below should get Mississippi State fans excited for the matchup between 8-4 teams. It will mark the first game of the Bulldogs’ post-Dan Mullen era, after the former Mississippi State coach was named Florida’s coach in November.

Mississippi State will try to end the season on a high note after an inconsistent stretch late in the year. The Bulldogs enter having lost two of their last three games, with the most recent defeat coming against Ole Miss on Nov. 23. Mississippi State also lost to Alabama on Nov. 11 before beating Arkansas a week later.
The TaxSlayer Bowl marks the eighth consecutive bowl appearance for Mississippi State. Greg Knox will be Mississippi State’s interim coach in the game. Joe Moorhead was hired as the Bulldogs’ next coach in November after working as Penn State’s offensive coordinator this season.
