Mississippi State dominated Ole Miss 55-20 to win this year’s Egg Bowl. And on Friday, the victory was etched into the trophy forever.
The Mississippi State football account tweeted out the etching of the score into the plaque on the trophy, and we have to admit it looks pretty good.

The win didn’t just snap a two-game losing streak to the Rebels it also prevented Ole Miss from going to a bowl game. And due to the Bulldogs’ superior APR score, the Bulldogs actually got invited to a bowl game at 5-7.
Mississippi State will play in the St. Petersburg Bowl. Dan Mullen and company will take on Miami of Ohio on Dec. 26. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET.
