The Mississippi State Bulldogs got some good news on the recruiting front on Sunday night.
Dan Mullen and Co. received a commitment from 2017 defensive end Deandre Johnson. Johnson is a 3-star recruit out of Miami.

Johnson is listed at 6-foot-3 and 239 pounds and is the No. 38 weakside defensive end in the 2017 class. Johnson also held offers from Auburn, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Johnson now gives Mississippi State 22 commitments in the 2017 class. He is the third defensive end to commit to the Bulldogs, joining Aaron Odom and Drelan Porter.
Mississippi State now has the No. 14 recruiting class in the country and the No. 7 class in the SEC.
