Mississippi State DT leaves game with apparent injury
Mississippi State has already suffered significant losses on defense this season, and the Bulldogs may have suffered another one.
Junior defensive lineman Chris Jones left during the first quarter in their game against Kentucky according to SEC Network sideline reporter Maria Taylor. Jones’ ailment is not yet known.
If he has to miss significant time, this would be the third defensive starter out of the lineup for the Bulldogs. Mississippi State is already without defensive backs Will Redmond and Kendrick Market. Jones has 28 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss this season. He also has 1.5 sacks.
