Mississippi State is getting embarrassed on its home turf, and Bulldogs fans don’t like it at all.
Auburn took a 35-0 lead into the locker room at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, and the general reaction from Mississippi State fans in attendance looked like this:

Needless to say, both Bulldogs fans in the stadium and at home watching on television were displeased with Dan Mullen’s team’s first-half effort. They took to social media to vent their frustrations:
This is embarrassing in almost every way, reminding me of what it was like pre Dan Mullen

Question for my fellow Bulldog fans:
Is Dan Mullen's heart still at MSU?

People can complain about individual performances, many that are valid, but Dan Mullen had two weeks and has a flat team. Mostly on him

And, of course, there were a few fans ready to cut bait on Dan Mullen as head coach and start looking elsewhere immediately.
Is it time to fire Dan Mullen yet? ??

Fire dan mullen

While that’s most certainly an overreaction, it’s hard to argue with the sentiment that his team needs to play much better given the lingering sting of a Week 1 loss to South Alabama on the results for 2016.
