It’s only Monday, but Reggie Perry probably made the week for Mississippi State coach Ben Howland. In fact, Howland may not be able to wipe the smile off his face through the month of the July.
The Bulldogs received the news from the 5-star prospect, who is the son of former Mississippi State basketball player Al Perry, on Monday. He released a commitment video via FanRag Sports’ Jon Rothstein.
Check it out:
Perry, a 6-foot-9 small forward out of Thomasville, Ga., is the No. 15 player in the Class of 2018 according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He is the No. 4 small forward in the country and the No. 1 player from the state of Georgia.
The former Arkansas commit had received interest from national powers such and Kentucky and Kansas, but has ultimately decided to attempt to build something special with Howland in Starkville as a legacy player with the Bulldogs.
